About The Position

Otterbein is seeking a skilled, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide person-centered care that respects residents and their choices. The role supports residents in completing daily activities and provides a range of services under a nurse’s supervision, helping residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible. Openings are available full time, part time, and PRN across first, second, and third shifts. Starting pay is $17.00, based on experience, with shift differentials of $3.00 for second shift and $1.50 for third shift.

Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification required in the State of Ohio.
Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use proper lifting techniques and lift equipment to move, lift, and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with day-to-day tasks, including bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible in their daily lives.
Document care accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
