About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its new rehabilitation hospital in Aiken. Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, the CNA performs patient care activities and accommodative services within the limits of the position. The CNA does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties must be performed consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements

Current BLS certification is required.
Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit.

Responsibilities

Perform patient care activities under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
Provide accommodative services to patients.
Perform duties within the limits of the CNA position.
Complete duties consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
