About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The CNA performs duties within the limits of the position, does not administer medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Work is performed in accordance with PAM Health’s policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements

Current BLS certification is required.
Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by the state in which the hospital is located.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
Provide accommodative services.
Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing job duties.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
