About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its new Aiken rehabilitation hospital. The CNA performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Duties must remain within the limits of the position: the CNA does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Work is performed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements

Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position.
Provide accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
Perform duties in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
