About The Position

Foothills Retirement Community is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a warm, homelike environment. The role is part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC), whose mission is to enrich the lives of seniors and team members through Relationships, Teamwork, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship. The position is full-time, with a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule, three-day workweeks, alternating weekends, and weekly pay. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

The CNA provides hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, follows individualized resident care plans, monitors and reports changes in resident health, and helps maintain a clean, safe, DHEC-compliant living space. The CNA works closely with nurses, families, and the care team and maintains documentation and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• CPR certification.
• Weekend and holiday availability.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities (ADLs).
• Follow individualized care plans for each resident.
• Create a warm, home-like environment.
• Monitor and report changes in resident health.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and DHEC-compliant living space.
• Work closely with nurses, families, and the care team.
• Maintain documentation and safety standards.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays.
