About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care to support and maintain patients’ physical comfort, working under the supervision and delegation of registered nursing staff. The position also includes sitter duties. Staff may be floated to other areas as needed. This role is 36 hours per week, working 7 a.m.–7:30 p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency, or enrollment in a co-op program with successful completion of a high school diploma within six months.
- Current Massachusetts Certified Nurse Assistant license, EMT license, or current enrollment in a nursing program with sufficient clinical rotation hours.
- Excellent organizational skills and a work pace suited to a busy acute care unit.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
