About The Position

The RN provides care on 2 East, a 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric patients with a wide variety of acute conditions and multiple comorbidities. Staff may be floated to areas where they are needed.

This position is 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and rotating weekends and holidays. The role is covered by a collective bargaining agreement; compensation is governed by its terms. Beth Israel Lahey Health requires staff to be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Evidence of continuing education.
• Current telemetry experience, or ability to pass the Telemetry Competency Exam within 90 days of beginning the position.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Appropriate time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
