About The Position
Franklin General Hospital is seeking full-time and/or part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are passionate about providing compassionate care in a close-knit, rural hospital setting. Franklin General Hospital and Franklin Country View long term care is a rural facility with 25 acute care beds, a primary care clinic, and a 52-bed nursing facility. We provide high-quality care across the full continuum-from health promotion to end-of-life care. We believe in changing every life we touch-including our employees.
Requirements
- Current CNA license in the State of Iowa
- Ability to perform physical tasks typical of CNA work
- A passion for nursing and patient care
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized physical, emotional, and social support
- Assist with daily living activities (dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Record vital signs, weights, and assist with specimen collection
- Report changes in patient condition to supervising nurses
- Be a trusted, compassionate presence in the lives of our patients and residents
