About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant is a member of the nursing team who contributes to the comfort and well-being of the patients by performing specifically assigned tasks and working under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida or enrolled in the JMC CNA Candidate Readiness Program.
- Must successfully complete CNA Candidate Readiness Program and obtain state license designated program timeframe.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years or more acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivers Exceptional Customer Service.
- Assists in Patient Care Functions.
- Assists in Indirect Patient Care Functions and transport.
- Maintains a Clean and Safe Work Environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
