About The Position
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Certified Nursing Assistants to work PRN (As Needed) at Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant! This role involves assisting nursing staff with daily living activities for older adult residents, performing vital signs, completing documentation, ensuring resident safety, and motivating residents to stay active and engaged.
Requirements
- Must hold a current certification and CNA I license
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with older adult residents
- Ability to listen attentively is essential
- A willingness to navigate changes in assignments
- Current CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a CCRC environment is a plus
- Previous experience developing relationships and interacting with older adult residents to increase their comfort level
- Prior knowledge organizing social activities for older adult residents is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with completion of older adult resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care.
- Perform vital signs on older adult residents at beginning of each shift and as directed.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safety of our senior residents.
- Assist with motivating senior residents to help keep them active and engaged.
