Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, dental hygiene, and room tidiness.
- Collect routine specimens.
- Take vital signs.
- Perform restorative care activities.
- Assist visitors and answer the telephone at the nursing station.
- Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Answer call bells as needed.
- Complete drying/checking rounds.
- Record intake and output.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition, safety issues, and potential hazards.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
