About The Position

Covenant Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to support residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. The role provides daily direct care and assistance with basic personal needs according to procedures and daily assignments. It also includes support with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services. The position reports directly to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff. The CNA may be cross-trained in Assisted Living.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of and passing test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assist residents with basic personal care, including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, and transportation or transfers.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Keep resident rooms clean and orderly by changing linens, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside tables, shelves, and closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothing is marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away.
• Notify a supervisor when residents need clothing.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with serving meals, and feed residents as needed.
