About The Position

Cura of Le Sueur is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join its nursing team. CNAs provide hands-on assistance with residents’ daily needs, companionship, and encouragement, helping residents maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. The role involves working collaboratively with nursing staff and building positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers in a supportive care environment. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry status in good standing.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Dependability, compassion, and commitment to providing quality care.
• Ability to prioritize resident needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet applicable background study and employment requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meals.
• Help residents maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning using appropriate safety procedures.
• Observe and communicate changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team.
• Respond promptly and compassionately to resident needs.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to provide safe, consistent, and individualized care.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable, and respectful environment in the facility.
