About The Position
Encino Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Physical Rehab team. The hospital is a 150-bed facility in Encino, California, and part of the Prime Healthcare Foundation. The role provides basic nursing care to acute rehabilitation patients and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. This is a full-time, day-shift position. The current compensation range is $23.00 to $36.37. Starting compensation is determined during applicant selection based on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure. The position includes a benefits package that may vary by employment status and collective bargaining agreement requirements.
Requirements
- Certification for nursing assistant required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
- Current BCLS required.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide basic nursing care to acute rehabilitation patients.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
