About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Behavioral Health department is a licensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. This is a full-time, day-shift position at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
