About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant works in the Behavioral Health department, assisting with activities of daily living and providing basic nursing care to non-critical patients. The role also helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained as current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained as current.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
