About The Position
ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Corbin is seeking an experienced and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for a direct-hire, full-time position with a long-term acute care (LTAC) partner. The role provides care to high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions. Hospital experience is required. The CNA assists licensed nursing personnel with patient care, including documenting activities of daily living, supporting personal hygiene and grooming, and maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment. The role also uses basic infection-control procedures and basic nutrition and fluid-intake skills, and requires recognizing and responding to emergency situations.
Requirements
- Hospital experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience as a Nurse Aide; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant, as applicable in the state of employment.
- BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six months of hire.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of, and effects of use of, drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

- Acute-care or LTAC experience preferred.
