Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - FT Days | Westminster Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts at Westminster Rehab. The position is based in a 36-bed hospital and works three 12-hour shifts per week. The hourly pay range is $22–$26, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $2 per hour in shift differentials. The CNA performs patient-care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Work must stay within the limits of the position and follow PAM Health’s policies, procedures, and guidelines. The CNA does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient-care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Perform patient-care activities within the limits of the position; do not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care.
- Complete duties in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
