About The Position

The ASC Certified Nursing Assistant primarily assists with safe and efficient patient care in the Preoperative and Recovery (PACU) areas at the Menomonee Falls Surgery Center. Some assistance in the Operating Room, Central Supply area, or at the reception desk may be required. Other duties may be assigned. This is a 0.8 FTE position with 32 standard hours per week, working weekdays with start times varying between 5:15 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. No holidays, weekends, or call are required.

Requirements

• Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certificate.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), or an AHA-approved equivalent, required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to use an electronic vital sign machine, thermometer, and scale, and to remove an intravenous catheter.
• Ability to safely transfer patients between a bed, wheelchair, toilet, and other locations.
• Ability to use efficient communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
