About The Position

Family Life Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide professional, compassionate care to patients in their homes. Assignments may include long-term care or helping clients recover from an injury or illness. The company works with caregivers to build schedules around their needs and serves clients ranging from children to senior citizens, including veterans.

Requirements

• Hold a current Florida CNA license or a 75-hour Home Health Aide Certificate from a school approved through the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Current TB test with negative results.
• Ability to pass a Level II background check.
• Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions.
• Ability to prepare meals, do laundry, and perform light cleaning duties.
• Compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and families.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently while following care plans.
• Have a working smartphone.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs.
• Observe clients’ health status and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities that support mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in clients’ homes through light housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry.
• Provide memory care support to clients with cognitive impairments, promoting safety and cognitive engagement.
