About The Position
Marshall Healthcare Facility is a 64-bed skilled and long-term care facility located in Machias, Maine. We are known for our loyal and dedicated employees, with some having worked here for over 25 years. Our residents receive attention from highly trained staff and have access to restorative nursing and therapy services. We aim to help individuals live as independently as possible with dignity and respect through professional care planning and engaging activities. Requirements
- Completion of a state-approved C.N.A. certification training course (all experience levels welcome, including new grads!).
- Basic computer skills and the ability to multitask safely.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic "bedside manner" and team-player mindset.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with daily living needs and personal hygiene.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs in resident charts.
- Providing adjunct patient care and safe transportation assistance.
- Collaborating with the nursing team while adhering to professional standards and state regulations.
