About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The CNA performs duties within the limits of the position, does not administer medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties are carried out consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. This is a full-time day-shift position at the upcoming PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification is required.
- CNA certification is required where mandated by the state in which the hospital is located.
- No experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position.
- Carry out duties consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
