About The Position

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN day shifts. The CNA performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The role is limited to the CNA’s scope of practice: it does not include administering medications or therapy, or assuming independent responsibility for patient care. Duties must be performed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services across more than 80 locations, along with wound clinics and outpatient physical therapy locations in 17 states. Requirements

Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position.
Provide accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines when carrying out job duties.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
