About The Position
CarDon and Associates is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to residents. The CNA assists residents with daily living activities and works closely with nursing staff to monitor their health and report changes in condition. The role calls for compassion, patience, and a commitment to residents’ comfort, well-being, dignity, and independence. Requirements
- Successfully complete a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program, or provide acceptable verification through the State Nurse Assistant Registry.
- Have no Registry finding concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Communicate with nursing staff and family members about resident needs and changes.
