About The Position
Pitman Manor, a United Methodist Communities (UMC) community, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their healthcare team. In this role, you will assist older adults with their daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, transfers, dining support, and the safe use of adaptive equipment. You will provide resident-centered care in accordance with individualized service plans and maintain accurate documentation. The position involves monitoring resident well-being through routine check-ins and meaningful daily interactions, communicating observations and changes in resident health or behavior to the nursing team, and building positive relationships with residents by understanding and supporting their personal preferences. Requirements
- Active New Jersey CNA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 or older
- Must be able to produce a negative drug test
- Must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position
