About The Position
Bristol Glen, a UMC Community in Newton, NJ, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for part-time and per diem shifts. This role involves caring for residents in a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehab neighborhood, allowing for consistent relationships with residents. Bristol Glen is a nonprofit senior living community run by United Methodist Communities (UMC) and has been certified as a Great Place to Work for 9 consecutive years.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification, in good standing on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry
- 18 years or older
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care
Responsibilities
- Help residents bathe, dress, groom, and start their day
- Help with meals, walking, and transfers, including lift equipment
- Take vital signs and complete rounds
- Follow each resident's care plan and chart the care you give
- Work with nurses and therapists to support residents recovering after a hospital stay and those who live here long term
- Get to know residents and their families over time
