About The Position
Emplify Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Hospital Float Pool. The CNA helps cover inpatient units, including medical-surgical, pediatrics, and inpatient behavioral health, and transports patients throughout the hospital for procedures, therapy, X-ray, and other needs. The role is 0.4 FTE, or 32 hours bi-weekly, working weekday day shifts in Transport. Shift options are 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The position has no weekends and requires working three holidays per year. Emplify Health is a not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network based in Green Bay and La Crosse, Wisconsin. It is a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, with 11 hospitals and more than 100 clinics serving 67 cities across Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Requirements
- Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification with hands-on learning from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, obtained within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Help cover inpatient units, including medical-surgical, pediatrics, and inpatient behavioral health.
- Transport patients throughout the hospital for procedures, therapy, X-ray, and other needs.
