Certified Nursing Assistant - Telemetry
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. This role is on the Telemetry unit and has a night shift schedule. Saint Mary’s Health Network, a member of Prime Healthcare, provides inpatient, outpatient, ancillary, and wellness services in Northern Nevada. Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center is a 352-bed acute care hospital offering a range of services, including cancer care, surgical and orthopedic services, and cardiology.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant from the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
- BLS (AHA) certification is required.
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of recent acute, in-hospital experience in a multi-unit setting.
- Comfort using computer systems.
