Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Telemetry
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant in the Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who helps patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The CNA works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Chino Valley Medical Center is a 112-bed community hospital in Southern California’s Chino Valley and a member of Prime Healthcare. The hospital serves community healthcare needs through emergency care, senior services, orthopedics, surgical services, and other services.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
