About The Position

The CNA in the Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and assists in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Shasta Regional Medical Center is a 226-bed acute care facility serving Northern California and offers a comprehensive range of services.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
