About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as a 1099 independent contractor to provide routine healthcare services in clients’ homes. The contractor sets a flexible schedule suited to their own needs and those of their clients, with control over working hours and days off. The role focuses on providing safe, competent, compassionate care that enhances clients’ quality of life.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable.
- Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Safe working knowledge of client-based equipment.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers.
- CNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Follow care plans to provide safe and competent care.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and meal preparation.
- Help clients with mobility.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions or home situations to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator.
