About The Position
Chapel View, a Cassia senior community, is hiring an on-call Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents at its care center in Hopkins, Minnesota. The CNA helps residents maintain independence by assisting with personal care, daily living activities, treatments, and prescribed program activities. The role includes recording care and vital signs, documenting services in a computerized charting system, and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the RN or supervisor. The listed wage range is $22.50–$27.43 per hour, depending on experience. Chapel View is a 100-bed care center offering short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and hospice care. Requirements
- Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work a consistent schedule.
Responsibilities
- Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Assist with treatments delegated by the Registered Nurse in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan.
- Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed; report changes or concerns to the RN.
- Document services performed using a computerized charting system.
- Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
- Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition, including changes in attitude, reaction, or appetite, to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
