About The Position
Brookdale is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); in Ohio, the role is referred to as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). CNAs work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care, perform vital-sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy, and provide resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift. The role requires successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course and maintenance of certification. Responsibilities
- Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
- Provide resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal care needs.
- Perform vital-sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain CNA/STNA certification.
