About The Position

Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide person-centered care to older adults. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The role works closely with nurses and other team members to support residents’ well-being. The position is full-time and benefits eligible, with an evening shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. A $2,000 bonus is offered for the evening shift only.

Requirements

• Current Iowa Nursing Assistant certification.
• Desire and passion to help aging adults with daily needs.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Notify the supervising nurse about changes in residents’ condition or behavior.
• Help residents get to and from bathrooms.
• Converse with and comfort residents.
• Answer residents’ call buttons.
• Provide residents with drinks and snacks.
• Change bedding.
• Help residents change into clean clothing.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Work with nurses and fellow team members to provide high-quality, person-centered care.
