Certified Nursing Asst (CNA) / Certified Med Tech (CMT) - Full-Time $2000 Bonus
About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant/Certified Medication Tech to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals at Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, Idaho. The CNA/CMT works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff. The position is scheduled for four 10-hour evening shifts, Sunday through Wednesday, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The pay rate is $20–$24 per hour, depending on years of experience, and the role includes a $2,000 joining bonus. Centurion contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide healthcare services in correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
Requirements
- Idaho CNA license or ability to obtain the license.
- Medical Aide certification, or ability to obtain it, with approval for medication administration.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in an acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional setting.
- Correctional experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living needs.
- Monitor vital signs.
- Assist nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications.
- Document medication dosages and times of administration.
