About The Position

Baptist Health & Rehab, a Cassia community, is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to help residents maintain independence through personal care, daily living activities, and treatments. The CNA documents care, supports prescribed activity programs, and reports changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the RN or supervisor. The role is based at Baptist Health & Rehab in Bismarck, North Dakota, and offers day shifts from 6:00 AM–10:00 AM or 7:00 AM–11:00 AM. The stated wage is $22.33 or more per hour, depending on experience, and the position offers a $5,000 bonus.

Requirements

• Current North Dakota Nursing Assistant certification.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain their highest level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Assist with treatments delegated by the Registered Nurse according to the individualized care plan.
• Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed.
• Report changes or concerns in residents’ condition to the RN.
• Document services performed using the computerized charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition, including changes in attitude, reaction, or appetite, to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
