About The Position
Provides health care for residents under the direction of a nurse. Assists residents with day-to-day tasks and provides vital support. The role is in the Marwood Nursing and Rehab department and is scheduled for the 2:15 PM–10:45 PM shift, with 80 bi-weekly hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
Responsibilities
- Answer resident calls and determine how best to help them.
- Provide physical support with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients.
- Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to help ensure residents receive an appropriate diet.
- Provide encouragement and support with eating.
- Provide compassionate support, attention, and assistance to residents and families.
- Perform other related duties as required and directed.
