Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
About The Position
Generations at Applewood in Matteson, IL is seeking CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS (CNAs) to work 8-hour shifts on Evenings (3p-11p) or Overnights (11p-7a). Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and both require working every other weekend. A shift differential applies to the Evening and Overnight shifts. Generations at Applewood is a State-of-the-Art, 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing community offering quality healthcare services to residents throughout the Chicagoland area. They have recently opened a Complex Care Respiratory Unit.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State of Illinois - NO WAIVERS ACCEPTED
- Must have at least 2 years experience as a CNA and be 18 years of age
- Must have an up-to-date flu vaccination receipt or bone fide religious or medical exemption
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- CPR Certified
- Must have knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS regulations as related to job duties
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
- Must conduct themselves with professionalism, and have a positive attitude
Benefits
- $19 - 22 per hour depending on status and benefits selected
- $2/HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR 2nd shift and 3rd shift
