Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Night Shift
About The Position
Hamilton Grove, part of Greencroft Communities, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate overnight care to older adults. The role focuses on helping residents feel comfortable, safe, and supported while protecting their dignity and independence. CNAs assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living, build relationships with residents, observe changes in their needs, and communicate with the care team. The position involves 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends and holidays, working collaboratively with teammates in a culture centered on Creativity, Respect, Openness, Fairness, and Teamwork.
Requirements
- Current Indiana CNA certification.
- Enjoys caring for older adults.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Takes pride in meaningful work.
- Works well with others and values teamwork.
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care while protecting each resident’s dignity and independence.
- Help residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Create a calm, comfortable environment throughout the night.
- Build genuine relationships with residents.
- Notice changes in residents’ needs and communicate them to the care team.
- Provide reassurance, comfort, and support when residents need help.
- Work collaboratively with teammates.
