About The Position
All Saints Sub Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team on a Full-Time AM shift. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care and support to residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. The CNA works closely with licensed nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive quality, resident-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans and facility standards.
Requirements
- Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Take and document vital signs and promptly report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
- Assist with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Provide respectful care while maintaining resident dignity, privacy, and independence.
- Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies.
- Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
