About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant works as a direct patient caregiver under the supervision of professional clinical staff in the Medical Surgical Unit at Montrose Regional Health. The unit has 24 private rooms and provides care to pediatric and adult patients with medical and surgical conditions. Services include chemotherapy administration, physical therapy, nutrition counseling, hospice care, ostomy care, and weekend infusion services. Discharge and social services are available to support patients returning to health. The position is located in Montrose, Colorado.
Requirements
- Certification in the State of Colorado after completing an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant course.
- BCLS required upon hire.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions based on facts and knowledge.
