About The Position
The CNA in the MST department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The position works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Huntington Beach Hospital is a 131-bed acute-care community hospital and a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation. The hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and serves Huntington Beach and the surrounding area.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office.
Responsibilities
