About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Telemetry Department assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients. The CNA also helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. San Dimas Community Hospital is a 101-bed facility on a 13-acre campus in San Dimas and is part of Prime Healthcare. It provides a range of services, including 24-hour emergency services, a family birth center, orthopedic surgery, advanced diagnostic services, and cardiopulmonary and gastrointestinal services. The hospital describes its team as multidisciplinary and focused on personalized, high-quality care.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office is preferred.
