About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The CNA works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. This is a per diem position on the day shift.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- The posting states the position requires one year of licensure and acute care experience.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office is preferred.
