Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Telemetry
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant in the Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who helps patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The CNA works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. San Dimas Community Hospital is a 101-bed facility on a 13-acre campus in San Dimas. It provides comprehensive services including 24-hour emergency services, a family birth center, orthopedic surgery, advanced diagnostic services, and cardiopulmonary and gastrointestinal services.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.

- Assist in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
