About The Position
Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction and is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to work at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle, Indiana. The CNA works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The position is full-time days, with three 12-hour shifts per week and work every other weekend. The pay range is $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Indiana CNA license.
- Experience working in a laboratory.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, an emergency setting, or a correctional setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living needs.
- Monitor vital signs.
