About The Position

Sandy Health and Rehab is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in its skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. The role serves a geriatric population receiving long-term and short-term care and involves providing consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate assistance. CNAs help residents with daily needs while treating them with dignity and respect, and work as part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification.
• Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn and follow state, local, and federal long-term care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights and support residents’ daily needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, bathing, dressing, and meals.
• Monitor residents’ comfort, preferences, and dietary needs while providing dignified and respectful care.
• Document intake and output as needed and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Build relationships with residents and their families.
