About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct care to residents and patients at The Pillars of Biloxi, helping meet their daily living needs and supporting their well-being and comfort. The role includes monitoring residents, communicating changes in condition to the Charge Nurse, and completing assigned care and documentation. The position is full-time, with evening shifts from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and night shifts from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The Pillars of Biloxi describes its mission as reconnecting people to life through compassionate, personalized care. Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular direct-care rounds on the assigned unit to monitor activity and ensure residents’ needs are met, including assisting with activities of daily living.
Maintain positive relationships with residents and patients.
Notify the Charge Nurse of any change in a resident’s or patient’s condition.
Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
Complete assigned duties and required documentation.
Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents in the Transitional Care Unit.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Ensure infection prevention and control practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
