About The Position

Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join its team and provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. The role includes assisting clients with personal care, mobility, meals, and housekeeping, following each client’s service plan, and reporting unusual events to the administrator. Duties may vary according to each client’s specific needs. The position offers a flexible schedule, weekly pay, support staff, and online training.

Requirements

Hold a current state CNA license in good standing.
Have at least one year of caregiver experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency.
Be available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
Be at least 18 years old.
Pass Rhode Island’s National background check.
Have the state-required annual Flu Shot.
Have the state-required Hepatitis B Shot.
Provide the state-required immunization record for Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and COVID.
Upload the state-required birth certification.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
Have Hoyer Lift experience when specific to the client.
Be able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Have adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Plan, prepare, and serve meals, with client assistance when they are able.
Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Complete all other duties specified in the Client Service Plan.
