About The Position

Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. Caregivers receive flexible scheduling, weekly pay, support staff, and online training. Duties may vary depending on each client's specific needs and Client Service Plan. Requirements

Current state CNA license in good standing.
One year of caregiver experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
Availability to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
At least 18 years old.
Ability to pass Rhode Island's National background check.
State-required flu shot, with annual vaccination thereafter.
State-required Hepatitis B shot.
State-required immunization record for Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and COVID.
Upload of state-required birth certification.
Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation.
Hoyer lift experience when specific to the client.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Plan, prepare, and serve meals, with assistance from clients when they are able.
Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Complete all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
